Each year the congregation participates in an offering of letters.  For a few weeks before the offering of letters members of the congregation are invited to write letters to members of congress.  These letters encourage our senators and representatives to support legislation that helps to fight hunger nationally and internationally.  The letters are collected, included in a Sunday offering and sent to Washington D.C.
