The Reverend
Jeanne Lutz is an Episcopal priest in the Diocese of the
Rio Grande who serves Peace Lutheran under the
Lutheran/Episcopal agreement, Called to Common Mission.
Jeanne is a graduate from the University of Texas at
Austin with a Bachelor of Music degree and holds a
Master of Arts in Teaching from New Mexico State
University. She did her training for the ordained
ministry at the Preacher Lewis School for Ministry in
New Mexico and is currently a candidate for the Doctor
of Ministry degree at Austin Presbyterian Theological
Seminary.
Before coming to Peace Lutheran,
Jeanne served as associate minister at St. Mary's
Episcopal Church, Albuquerque, St. Andrew's Episcopal
Church, Las Cruces, and as interim pastor at the
Cathedral Church of St. John. Jeanne is married to
William Lutz, who practices law in Las Cruces. Bill and
Jeanne have two sons, William Jr., a journalist in
Austin and David, who is in practice with his father.
