Martha Rowe received the B.M.E. and M.M. degrees in both voice and
accompanying from the University of New Mexico, and the D.M.A. in Vocal
Performance from the University of Arizona. She has soloed with such groups as
the Santa Fe Desert Chorale and Musica Antigua de Albuquerque, and has also
served as pianist for the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, the New Mexico
Symphony Orchestra, and the Four-Corners Opera Company. She has accompanied
vocal and instrumental soloists in national and international competitions and
performances. Dr. Rowe has been a faculty member at New Mexico State University
since 1990, serving as Vocal Area Coordinator as well as teaching studio voice,
foreign language diction, and vocal pedagogy. She has served as Music
Coordinator at Peace Lutheran since 1993.
