at (505)-437-4380. The band meets for practice at 7:00 PM every Monday at the First Presbyterian Church, 1340 Murchison, El Paso Texas. If you are interested in learning to play bagpipes, highland snare, tenor or bass drum, Empyre Pipes and Drums provides instruction to new members free of charge no matter what your previous musical experience is. It should be stated here that performing with a marching bagpipe band takes physical endurance and stamina. Parades can require a tremendous amount of physical fortitude and each member plays a large role in making the entire performing experience a success.
