An Arab Israeli Peace Conference entitled "Paving Peace through Literature and Culture was opened with a rainbow on the Beach in Shavet Zion. The rainbow was dedicated to Anat a young woman who gave her life to save her baby in a suicide bombing.

On the 3rd day of the conference a moon rainbow was created in a Bedouin Village outside of Haifa. The moon rainbow is as amorphous as the Israel Palestinian peace process.
