Children's Museum Rainbow

This rainbow was created for the Santa Fe Children's Museum Birthday Party on April 15, 1995. It was my first large scale public rainbow created on land. Below the site was a water storage tank which was to be used to create a wetlands. The water not only created the rainbow but was recycled to fill the storage tank.

It became clear that at land events kids will always run through the rainbow and get soaked.

A fire truck with a constant velocity gun was provided by the Santa Fe Fire Department. A series of problems regarding the maximum water supply of the local hydrant were solved.
