Community Park Celebration June 27, 1998

The town of Silver City has come together to build a community park for our young people. All materials and labor for the projected are being provided by community members. As part of a fund raising celebration my first rainbow was created by proxy. I was in San Francisco working with the Pride Celebration. on the day of the event. Early in the week I met with Morgan a local teenager and friend, and the fire department to work out the details.

Morgan then orchestrated and carried out the event. On a 90 degree day running under the rainbow allowed lots of kids to cool off.
