We are a kindergartn class at 68th Street Early Childhood Center. We liked your rainbows and we want to make one of our own. Can you give us some more ideas. Can you come to our school and make a rainbow? How come the rainbows go away? We like all of the colors in the rainbows. We will try your idea with the hose and let you know how well it worked.

I am very impressed by this site. I had no knowledge that someone could make such a huge rainbow. I hope that you have success in the future. Keep fighting for peace, and maybe I will have the honor in meeting you someday. I am only 17 but I plan to keep participating in things like Relay for Life. If I hadn't already been given clear proof that rainbows are an expression of divinity & a link to Christ, as well as a symbol of peace, I had a wonderful demonstration of this in the fact that the peace vigil I have started attending on a Sunday was started by a lady called Anni Rainbow, and yes, it is her real name! If anyone reads this has experienced the Wizzard of Oz sychronicities manifesting in their life & feels 2002 is "the year of the Swan" please contact me! We must all work for peace & compassion now.

This is so cool! I have been fascinated with the miracle of a rainbow since I was 8 years old. Not only are they beautiful, but they are a covenant promise from God to Noah that he would never again flood the earth. I have had the extreme pleasure of viewing a double rainbow so brightly colored and close, I just stared in amazement! What a wonderous thing a rainbow is. Thank you for sharing your talent with thw world. If you ever come to Houston, let me know. I'd love to see first hand your work. God bless. Paula

We are both Christians and I told her what I thought it meant. We were confused and very interested so we got on the internet to look up some facts. We were very happy to find your site! I Wanted to share something that I feel is extremely rare and very cool. I was making my journey from Reno, Nevada to LasVegas. I usually travel at night because of the heat and traffic. It was a full moon and several scattered thunder showers in the area. Coming over this pass that overlooks an entire valley the full moon was shinging from my high right. Across the the valley to my left there was a huge rain storm dumping in two different areas and two of the most beautiful rainbows at 1am that I have ever saw. I am wondering if anyone else has been blessed with seeing a rainbow at night before. Trevis

Dear Brother of the Rainbow Tribe, These pages and the work you do are a gift to OUR Planet and to OUR human Family. I am reminded of a Rainbow gift I recieved on a road trip out to California. I was flying along the freeway and a huge strom was ahead and I saw the most beautiful Rainbow. I pulled over to the side of the road and took a picture( which turned out beautifully). I took the showing of that rainbow as a gift and sign from the Creator. I started to drive away and saw up ahead a speedtrap by the Highway Patrol. Had I not saw the rainbow and stoped to take a picture, I am sure I would have recieved a ticket. When I developed the picture, I was reminded by the dark storm around the rainbow, to always look for the RAINBOW even in the dakest stroms!!!!!!!!! I also made many copies of that picture to share with others and have always included my reminder in writing on the back of the picture. Copies of that picture have made a journey to many places and people Earth Mother and I trust the Creator knew what she/he was doing that day... Many Special Blessings to you and your work as you touch the awakening hearts of OUR HUMAN FAMILY!!!!! In Peace,Love,Balance and Beauty.... Buffalo man

The Bible is tried and true. I hope you will come to realize and then communicate with others, that rainbows are the sign God gave us. Because he loves us and has promised never to flood the entire earth again. He also loves us so much that he sent his son to reconcile our sins. And like rainbows, this gift is also free. We only have to realize we are all sinners, ask for forgiveness, believe that Jesus is the only son of God, who died for our sins, rose again to prepare a place for us in Heaven. Believe in Christ, ask him into your heart and make him the Lord of your life. He will never fail you. This is not a myth, it is the truth. Please read the book of John in the New Testament of the Bible. It will change your life for all eternity. God bless you!

It's so wonderful what you're doing! I'm right at the beginning of a project. I want to agree with all folks on Earth to a "Heal The Earth Day" and celebrate a healing ceremony at several holy places with many groups of all different kinds of folks. Time has come to give our phantasy for the healthy of our home the Earth! If we want to live and want that our children can live to in a healthy world, we have to start doing something. And each person's idea is worth to be done. Because each creature is a little part of the whole universe and so important for the universe. If a cell in our body is aching we feel it, and the same is when a planet the earth - is ill, th universe will take notice of that. So, IŽ'm afraid of asking you, but the chance that i found your homepage must be a sign - but maybe you will crown the "Heal The Earth Day" with a beautiful, wonderful rainbow! Everibody who reads this and wants to join this day, join a ceremony for our home the Earth, could contact me - later we'll agree for a certain day! email to: hedi@newsclub.at or hedi_privat@hotmail.com Love and Peace! Hello! PLEASE read this message, all of you. I was searching and searching frantically and I finally found this site. It helped me to discover the meaning of my experience. One day it was raining hard, and I had nothing to do. While it was raining, the sun broke through in an absolute downpour. Wondering if I could see a beautiful rainbow, one of my fav. things, I ran outside. I was soaking wet, but who cares? I looked and saw a magnificent double rainbow. I had never seen one before. But then, I saw something even more rare. there was a rainbow the curiously arched, and ended right @ the bottom of the hill in my yard! I clearly saw it touch the ground and was able to get about 30 ft from it before it would disappear. It was spectactular, and very reassuring that GOD will always be there with love and forgiveness. Thank you!

Coming across your webpage made my day as I face difficult circumstances and decisions. Rainbows hold a particularly significant place in my life and are an active reminder of God's amazing and creative love. Years ago I was going through a very painful divorce. One day I was motivated to stop the car along a rural road and get out to worship God as an incredibly beautiful rainbow filled the sky. Months later as I stepped out to go to court for the final divorce hearing, I looked up to find a small rainbow high in the sky, with no rain in site. Through all the pain and lonely periods since then, every time I am blessed with the vision of a rainbow, something in my heart speaks comfort and joy to me, and I am able to see life through spiritual eyes that always see hope. Hope to experience one of your created rainbows one day. Thanks.

if you would report on the different myths on rainbows, at least be accurate the "christianity movement" doesnt hold the rainbow as the judgement of God. The Old Testament states quite clearly that The Lord put the rainbow in the sky as a symbol of the promise He made to Noah, that He would not end the world in a flood

I learnt the order of the colours of the rainbow with this poem - Two little clouds one sunny day went flying through the sky They went so fast they bumped their heads and both began to cry Old Father Sun looked out and said, "Well never mind my dears I'll send my little fairy folk to dry your falling tears." One fairy came in violet, and one in indigo, in blue, green, yellow, orange red they made a pretty row, They washed the clouds' tears all away and then throughtout the sky Upon a line the sunbeams made they hung their gowns to dry

I looked out my front door, saw a rainbow in the distance... Called to my boyfriend to come see...was so beautiful... A few minutes later, I went back to my front door.. The end of the rainbow was at my front door... I called my boyfriend to come see...we were both in awe...the night before this happened I prayed to God and thanked him for all my blessings...

Your message to the world is clear. I was just browsing around looking for something to do and brought up your site. Wow! The peace and serenity I had was overwhelming while I read your stories about mythological and relegious beliefs. Before I knew it my whole family was around the computer reading and listening to the stories as I read them out loud for them. A calm togetherness seemed to come over all of us. Thank you for brightening our day.

Thank you for this lovely site and the work you are doing. Rainbows mean a lot to me. Four years ago, my husband died very suddenly. It was devastating. For weeks afterwards, my daughter and I saw rainbows or parts thereof. We felt they were a message of love from God and my husband to let us know he was with God. It was a great comfort. I wish you great success in your work.

Hello Fred, I received your mail the other day and was pleased by your comments. I wish we could have met while you were in New Orleans and maybe someday we will. I have several ideas concerning a sponsoring medium for your art. The local Audubon Society in conjunction with the Louisiana Nature and Science Center and the Audubon Zoo, The New Orleans Museum of Art, The Aquarium of the America's, The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, The Essence Festival, Harrah's Jazz Casino, as well as several other Hoteliers and Casinos in the metro area. We have so many festivals and events ongoing throughout the area that there will be a host of finanaciers to sponsor such an event as yours. The City itself may be interested. I work for a local casino as well as work in and around the city. Would I be able to receive an information packet from you so as to put together your art and several of these promotional sponsors. An event for Harrah's casino or better yet the Essence Festival which is held on the 1st weekend in July would be a great platform for which to promote world unity through the display of your art. Your site brought back memories of my most eventful rainbow. I had bought an old motorhome and "hit the road" to I-had-no-idea-where. Before entering St. George, Utah, I had hit a major hail storm and pulled off the road. Feeling awful lonely and afraid, I began to talk to God, telling him I had no idea what was in store for me, but if he wanted something for me, he'd have to show me. Then, the rain stopped and the sun appeared. On the road, directly in front of me, beginning and ending on each side of the road...was a RAINBOW! That rainbow gave me hope to continue on and find what God had for me. My life has completely changed, and I've found hope again. Thanks for your beautiful site. I would love to see a rainbow here in the Mojave Desert.

To whom it may concern, Today I was searching the net for information on rainbows. You see, about 3 years ago, I was driving home from work with my carpool buddy when we noticed a beautiful rainbow not far from us. We kept moving closer and closer, but the breathtaking colors seemed to be moving just as quickly as we were. A few miles down the road, we made a turn. It was at this time that we drove into the rainbow. It was the most extraordinary things in the world. Everything was yellow.....the trees, the sky, the old barn....everything. Even the air, it was like there was a faint yellow fog around us. Gosh, I hadn't thought about this in quite sometime. Consequently, the other day, my boyfriend and I were admiring a rainbow and I shared my story with him. He thought it was incredible. More incredible is the fact that he constantly says that he believes that my 2 1/2 year old son is a genius. My son has the vocabulary of a 6 year old and has since before he was 2 years of age. Everyone who meets my little angel agrees that there is something extra special about him. So, back to my story.....now my boyfriend is convinced that it was the rainbow that enriched my unborn son (I was 8 months pregnant)and made him into the wonderful little person that he is. Cooinsidentally, my sons favorite color is yellow. So, the reason for my e-mail is......like I said at the beginning, since my boyfriend brought up this cooinsidence, I decided to read on the internet to find some sort of myth or old wives tale about rainbows. I haven't found a tremendous amount of information. However, the one thing that I've read twice is that a person cannot enter into a rainbow. So, now, of course, I am very confused....? We distinctly saw the entire world grow yellow before our eyes. It only lasted about 30 seconds, but it was the most beautiful 30 seconds that I can remember. As the color started to fade away, we watched as the rainbow continued on it's journey down the acres f farmland. Am I crazy? Was my friend crazy? Or, did we actually do the impossible and drive through a rainbow? More importantly, did this have any influence on my child? I know that scientificly, noone can answer this. However, from a mythological standpoint, is there any history of this? I am anxious to get some feedback, hope to hear from someone soon. Thankyou and have a great 1999, Nicole Kennedy

Just checking in to wish the RainbowMaker & all friends a Rainbow Christmas! If you visit my webpage, & open 'Solstice Greetings!' you will see my rainbow unicorn, while there is a Rainbow Blessings meditation link on the second page. As I write, I am surrounded by rainbows - the sun is shining through a crystal chandelier-style candle stand on my desk, while living rainbows chatter & play in the almond tree shading the window.(Rainbow lorikeets, & Eastern rosellas). If you would like a copy of the Rainbow jpg file, email me, & I will send it to you. Please tell me if you want a 29kb file, or the large one, of 88kb. My life is full of rainbows - crystals hang in the trees, & in my windows, while holographic fabric hangings create others. But the loveliest are the ones that I often see in the Western sky in the early mornings in winter, framing the city in which I live. Then there are the rainbows in the arches of water created by the irrigation of the school oval close by. Rainbows have great healing power, as well as uplifiting & inspiring all who see them. Once I was privileged to see a perfect moonbow - one of the most glorious & mysterious things I have ever experienced. Rainbows are everywhere, and I love this site, & everything Fred is doing. Healing & re-earthing are accomplished by creating joy - and a rainbow is joy made visible! Rainbow Blessings!

I have to tell the story of the day I touched a rainbow. August 18,1998 will forever be a day in my mind when Fred Stern gave to me my own rainbow. I wrote before that I was working on an event in Oregon called Tree Island Millennnium Gathering that celebrated Day500 before the year 2000. Through some joyous miracles Fred came to our event and created magic and love in the form of the rainbow. I experienced the circle of the rainbvow and I will never be the same again. I now know how I can work to make our world more peaceful and am on the road to do just that. I am traveling through the country to spread the word of peace and tell others of the wonder of our eart's flag of peace-the rainbow. Thank you Fred Stern for giving so freely of yourself to others so that we may become the beings of light to light our own internal rainbows. Your first groupie, Jeanie

Hello Rainbow maker,I love this site. It is a very informative arena. There is only one "rainbow" I did not find, and it iswith you always, once you find it. Crystals containrainbows which never leave. If you find one, it is veryspecial. I have "many" in my collection. This is another area which might be very interesting to those visiting here.Thank you for your "seeing the unseen" in many aspects oflife.

I loved your site here, it is amazing. Just the other day I saw the most beautiful rainbow in the world. it was a rainy and clouds day and i had a lot of things on my mind. then all of the sudden i saw a complete rainbow and a half of another. it had the most brightist color that you could ever imagine. the colors were almost to beautiful to be real. it was like a painted picture. it was like i had a angle in the car with me. i needed a feeling that i got after i saw the rainbow . i felt as though the rainbow was sent from heaven for me. it touched me in a way that i could never imagine. i was loosing my spirit until then and all of the sudden i have it back, i had the most wonder feeling that my soul had been touched by god him self. thank you for the rainbows. they will always touch deep in to my heart and soul.

I have the most unbelievable, unusual story to tell about a rainbow unlike anything you've ever heard. To this date, I have no explanation for it. If anyone is doing a story on rainbows from a divine intervention point of view, I have one that is very long, but 100% true. The story is not even over yet as I write this!

L.P. Phillips <lozen@concentric.net>

I had the opportunity to drive home from Cambridge, Mass in a rain storm. The reason I say 'opportunity' is not because traffic was backed up, but because I saw the largest rainbow ever. It was so large that the rainbow could not occupy my complete field of vision from end to end. I had to turn my head to see the whole thing, not an easy nor safe thing to do when driving an Izusu Trooper which is rumored to flip over easily. Anyway, I observed and got to thinking about rainbows. Here are some questions for you that I came up with......Where is a rainbow located in three space ? For me yesterday the Sun was on the passengers side and the rainbow out on the driver's side. The rainbow I saw yesterday seemed to move as I was driving. Behind trees, and in front of them. Why ?Did everyone driving yesterday see the same rainbow as me ? We were all driving in different directions at different speeds. Did we each have different views of the same phenomenon ?Why are they shaped in an arc ? Does this have anything to do with the sun's shape ? Perhaps they really are circular and we only see one half. But where is the other half of the circle ?Lastly, yesterday's rainbow was at times a double rainbow. By this I mean two rainbows stacked on top of each other. The second rainbow was slightly faded. It made me think it was some kind of optical harmonic, that could repeat it self.It was a strange and awe inspiring view. Eventually, I broke through and the clouds and it disappeared, then the sun came out.Are there any scientific explanations that would explain this ? Where could I get more information ?

Hi again Fred and everyone. Just wanted you to know that I've devoted a lot to promoting peace, and now that I've found your site again, I've also added several links to your sites on my "World Peace" page:

So I hope you like it, and invite you to see what I did for you and for peace thus far.

Thanks

Oops, I thought that the link would appear, so I did it this way, and I'll place it here once again, just in case.http://www.enter.net/~mike1269/dir.htmlNote this isn't for advertising. This is only my personal site, that attempts to help people who might be newbies to the internet, and who might have an older computer running Windows 3.1 to find some instant gratification on the net, and to motivate people to become active in the promotion of world peace and righting some wrongs, as well as virtually visiting my favorite city; Boston, and a few others local to my location.

Look for the link to The Rainbow Maker to reAPPEAR on my site very soon!

Thanks once again.

I love the great improvements to your site! Looks really fantastic!

I also want to apologize for loosing your link on my site. You see, I had a system crash here, and lost most of what I had, but was able to get most of it back up and running except I lost your link and a few others. I've been searching ever since, and found your site again!! YAAY!

I am also attempting, along with other things, to promote World Peace, and would be happy to link to your Rainbow Around the World site too.

I'm so HAPPY that I found you again. I couldn't remember what your site's title was, which is what made it so hard for me to find you. That and not having much time, since I create web pages for people in my area now too.

Thanks again!

P.L.H. (Peace, Love & Happiness)

MichaelP.S. I invite everyone visiting here to my site, by clicking on the link on this message. I'll be starting a Peace Links page soon, but in the meantime, you're welcome to sign my guestbook to get your links known right away.
