Grupo Bermudez $450 Million Maquiladora Industrial Park Development. Charged with corporate development of a $450 million Maquiladora Industrial Park in Ciudad Juárez, México where 300 U.S. and foreign Maquiladoras generated 300,000 industrial jobs with an annual payroll of $740 Million. Duties included development of corporate growth and marketing strategies, promotional programs to attract U.S.-Japanese-European multinationals, establishment of Industrial Park International Transportation Logistics Programs, staffing and training of executive personnel to include Plant Managers, Industrial engineers, ISO 9000 Quality Control programs and Just-on-Time Inventory systems.

International Joint Venture Start Ups. Economic Feasibility Studies and Turn-Key start up of a $25 Million/Year U.S. Based food franchise chain; a $30 Million/Year Industrial, Commercial and Residential Brick manufacturing Plant; and a $12 Million/Year Contract Manufacturing shelter assembly plant among others.

International Management Systems Research. Conducted Ph.D. dissertation Research in the Transference of U.S. Managerial Technology to Mexico through the Maquiladora Program. Studied over 125 Maquiladoras in the U.S.-Mexico Border and their corporate management structure, management programs, manufacturing methods, assembly line product mix, capital transfers, Maquiladora cost and value added tax product pricing and U.S.-México Customs regulations. Developed training modules for Mexican Maquiladora assembly plant personnel in Management by Wire, Inventory Control, Computer Technologies, Assembly Plant Accounting and Finance.
