Served in the Capacity of In-Country Program Manager for the USAID/Colombia Economic Aid Program. Duties include full P & L, Auditing, and Logistics responsibility for the administration of a $800 Million economic aid package to Colombia. Acted as U.S. Government representative before agencies of the Colombian government to review Colombian government economic aid solicitations, securing equipment from U.S. Government Excess property depots throughout the United States, purchasing new equipment and supplies from manufacturers, arranging for shipments to Colombian government agencies, conducting periodic utilization audits of equipment and supplies transferred to Colombian government agencies and preparing reports to U.S. Congress on economic aid program funding, utilization, and accomplishments. Major areas of economic aid administered included Food For Peace, Colombian Army and Police Electronic Equipment, Public Transportation Network Construction Equipment, Public Health, Rural Economic Development and Commercial Fisheries among others.
