Retainer

for (not limited to) analysis,
calculations, conclusions, preparation of reports

or arbitration, billed in hourly increments; applied to
giving testimony, as well as while waiting on location
Fees
billed by the half hour, defined as the minimum
charge for any discrete task
Materials
will be billed at cost plus a 10% overhead charge
Expenses
Personal
auto - 50 cents per mile
Air
travel - actual cost, plus a 10% overhead charge.
Refundable tickets will be purchased for any necessary travel
(unless unavailable). Non-refundable tickets will be purchased
upon request or when refundable tickets are unavailable, and
shall be reimbursed regardless if the ticket is used for the
purpose of the task for which retained.
Lodging, meals,
and rental car- reimbursed at actual cost.
Invoicing
