When Mattie arrived in March 2008, she was close to giving birth. Only one kitten survived, and Mattie proved to be a great mother to her calico offspring, Grace. After she weaned Grace, Mattie was spayed and her coat shaved because it was too tangled to comb. Now this sweet cat is re-growing her beautiful fur and waiting for adoption.
