Idabelle Female -
spayed
Some sort of Hound Mix
Born October 1, 2005
This big, pretty lady was
just a pup when she was found running loose in a ditch bank, lost and
alone, and brought to Safe Haven in April 2006. She’s a friendly,
strong dog who lately has made great strides with leash training,
although she can get distracted when on a walk. She’s an all-around
hound, as evidenced by her bark. Not an alpha dog, she’s the one to roll
over when meeting other dogs. A bit of a drama queen, while playing with
other canines she sometimes lets out a howl like she’s being killed when
she’s really perfectly fine! Idabelle loves toys, especially rawhides,
but she is not destructive: she doesn’t dig or chew on things she
shouldn’t. She’s a healthy eater who loves her chow. A good home for her
would be one with another dog so she could stay active instead of
snoozing the day away.
