Trip to Shanghai--
This was my "graduation" from Double Irish Chain. It's a "trip around the world," and my old friend Don (yes, another of ex's fraternity brothers) really pretty much "shanghied" me into making it. I started it in Albuquerque, finished it after I moved to Las Cruces.

It has an "oriental" feel to it, so the name fits. This one is also commercially-heirloom quilted. I have NO idea why this quilt was photographed on the bed in MY house in Las Cruces, unless I sent the top off from here, and got it back, here. This was before I got my super white wrought-iron bedstead.
