THE HUG--
Folks, this is THE HUG. The whole story is too long to tell, here. Suffice it to say that the blocks in this quilt came from women on r.c.t.q. -- the quilting newsgroup -- from four countries and 26 states. Suffice it to say that over a year after I received it, I STILL well up every time I look at it (which is often, I might add). It is ENORMOUS (bigger than king-size), and simply doesn't fit my bed! I haven't a wall big enough to hang it on (and am not a wall-hanger, anyway) -- but it is the most beloved of quilts -- and I'm still in touch with most of the block-makers.
