Snips and Snails--
This one started with a green/ecru/blue/rust fabric, all swirly, which looked a bit like snail-shells, to me. And I'd always wanted to make a "Snail's Trail" quilt. So, I got the greens, and the blues, and the rusts, and set to work. It didn't take a whole long time for me to be quite happy to leave snail's trails behind -- but I'd only made about a dozen of them (and remember, I don't "do" wall-hangings).

AHA! BORDERS! Lots of BORDERS! It's still a pretty small quilt, but the little boy who received it likes it.
