Welcome

Let me be the first to welcome you to our web site. It offers you a wide array of different types of services that are available to persons age 60 and over. As you click from page to page, you will encounter home delivered meal services, social lunches at nine senior centers, transportation, in-home respite care services, health promotion and recreational activities that keep persons of all ages active.

Good nutrition is one of the primary factors in keeping older adults healthy and independent. The Meals on Wheels program helps older adults at all income levels who are unable to prepare meals. A registered dietician approves menus that consist of a hot full-course (one-third RDA) lunch meal that is delivered along with a breakfast meal for the following day. The Meal on Wheels program make it possible for older adults to remain independent members of society, maintain their health and live their lives with dignity in their own homes.

As an affiliate of United Way of Southwest New Mexico our mission is to make a difference in the lives of not only older adults, but also the lives of their loved ones who are constantly concerned for their welfare. We impact the lives of many families with the gifts of time and money that are given through United Way.

Your contributions to United Way and the many of other good causes you support year after year significantly impact the lives of individuals, children, families and older adults. For many, you are the only glimmer of light they've been desperately seeking.

On behalf of Quality Senior Services, Inc., its board of directors and United Way, I take this opportunity to express our gratitude and thank you for choosing us as a source of information and services.

Sincerely and respectfully,

Steve Duran
