January 1890
wed 1 i was called to fast all day for U. Christensen by our bishop who
had turned crasy (not the bishop)
thi 2 fast day i tended meeting
fri 3 i went after wood with Charters team came back sat 4
sun 5 tended seventies meeting in manassa
mon 6 sawed wood to home
tus 7 ccf and i went after wood with caters team came wed 8
sun 12 i tended meeting in sanford
mon 1 3 i went and cased on my kiln
tus 14 started to fire on 12 thousand
fri 17 a boy was given to us Elisha and C C F fineshed burning
sun 19 i stayed home
tus 21 i and c c frederickson went to gather donation for the meeting house to get it fixed with seats
thi 23 i worked for j c b at the meeting house donation
fri 24 i went after coten wood with john colwel team for which. gave him some wood for the use of his team
sat 25 i went to manassa to see Cheney
sun 26 i had out baby blest and named Elijah Elisha

tue 29 our little boy died

mon 24 i started to work for Brother funk for 125 and bord i went over east
in a new place cawled eastdale where sevrel of the brothern has gon to make new homes
they took out a dich to make a resovore

wen 26 the first work was don on the darn which i took part in

mon 31 i started back with Bro. funk team to work on the dame i got half of what the team made

sun20 i did not go to meeting i stayed home and tended the children mary went
mon 21 i went after wood for H.A. Jones with his team which squares us on team questen came back tu 22
wen 23 i went down to work for a large compeny in the Excelcery farm came there just supper time
thi 24 it stormed nearly all night and all day i went on account of the storm
fri 25 it snowed all day
sat 26 stormed a little i did not do anything for i and c c f set up with j young wife all night sun
sun 27 stayed home and tended the children
mon 28 i went down to the Excelsiur farm to go to work
tus 29 i started to work for 125$ one doller per day

mon 12 i went down on the Excelsior farms to settle up them

wen 14 i worked at makeing table sand boxes and mill and so on
thi 15 worked on the same the cotton woods leaved out
sun 18 i tended meeting in mannassa at the quarterly conference
mon 19 worked on the mud mill

thi 22 wind blowed so that we could not do much

mon 26 did not work for coolman and i had to get hans to work

sun 1 i tended meeting in sanford but did not go to my corum meeting came up to brick yard
tus 2070 wen 2416 thi 53100 bad wether for this is all i made this week
sun 8 i did not go to meeting for i was in canyon came back sun evening

fri 20 afternoon and we quit fireing and came home

mon 1 got dun burning just sunrise and then i started for the canyon for my
wife who had gon to hattys and i got s c b team wld fetched load of wood back tus
wed 3 i went to watter my peas which i had put in on Browns land

mon 7 i hunted for my red hef'fer and could not f'ind her in the evening
i went to antoneto to mke brick again

tus 28 i borgend for a 3 year old mare of tomey brother for 25$ and i spent the day working her
wed 29 i went to richfield to plaster the school house for which i got $12 in the afternoon joseph
burk for which i am to give him 75 lbs of grain
