fri 4 fineshed adobe for S A Dunn in the afternoon i choped wood C jenson for potatos i got last spring
sun 6 tended meeting in Eastdale
mon 7 started to work for wm Funk carpentering
sun 15 tended meeting in Eastdale
mon 14 fineshed plastering the bedroom
tus 15 on the big room
wed will went to sanford to tend the furnel of his sister and i workel on a flour box for myself
sat 19 plasterd for wm Funk
fri 27 worked on adobe for the tithing grainery
sat 26 Brother Dunn and i went Priesthood meeting at mannassa
mon 28 worked on Crowther house makeing chimney and plastering around the casing wed 30 tended funeral of C Fredrikson baby
February 1895
fri 1 I chored around home
mon 4 worked on a dore for tithing house
tus 5 worked on one for Dunn
thi 7 i dun some blacksmithing for Dunn and some for myself
sat 9 my wife and I was sick in bed
mon 11 mary better but i was not
sun 17 tended meeting in Eastdale
tus 19 went after wood for myself and mashed my fingure
wed 20 i did not do enything but chore around home
sun 24 tended meeting in Eastdale
mon 25 I started to work on the risivor i drove decker team and got half the credit
March 1895
tus 5 i went to sanford to get my wagon which has been there all winter and tare down wills old log house
sat 9 worked at blacksmithing for will Bently urned one $
mon 11 i went to sanlouis to see about my tax and payed 230
tus 12 i took Bently team and went after wood to balince blacksmithing
fri 15 i went to sanford to make a chicken coope for Tomis Crowther
sun 17 tended meeting in sanford
mon 18 started to lay brick
thi 21 fineshed. and came home the job came to 6 dollers
sun 24 tended meeting in Eas+dale
mon 25 worked on a seller and filling the well up
fri 29 went over to tend priesthood meeting
sat 30 tended. it at manassa
sun 31 tended meeting in sanford
April 1895
mon 1 i left sanford 3 oclock and walked. over got home 12 at night
tus 2 rested.
thi 4 killed a pig in the forenoon afternoon worked. for S Holman
sat 20 went with his boy after wood for him mon 29 went to Sanford for E Mortenson after a load of otes for 125 lbs grain in the fall

wed 1 plowed for Bishop Funk ½ on tithing
sat 4 worked on my kitchen

mon 6 drove nielson team for him scrapeing levy
tus 7 i went after wood for myself with Neilsons team to pay for scrapeing
wed 8 took 150 job of jenson makeing door and puting it in
fri 10 worked on my kitchen 3/4 day sowed. otes 1/4 day and gardening the rest
tus 14 hunted all day for my colts did not find them
wed 15 worked in the garden
sat l8 d.ug a weel for the town on the north side of my north lot
sun 19 no meeting
mon 20 i hawled dirt on my house with A S Nielson team
tus 21 it rained all night and all forenoon in the afternoon i helped the men finish the well 9 feet deep i furnished the curbing for it
wed 22 i went up to watter for A mortenson
mon 27 plasterd on my kitchen
tus 28 i grubed brush for Bishop Funk ½ day
fri 31 snowed all forenoon best storm i ever saw this time of the year
June 1895
sat 1 i went to costilla to see Myer about my debt
wed 5 went to Sanford to make brick
thi 6 tended fast meeting in Sanford
fri 7 C J Decker and i went to the brick yard leveled it and filled a pit
sat 8 Deckers child took so sick that we did not work
sun 9 tended meeting in Sanford
mon 10 Decker and 2 of his boys started to work makeing brick i worked for 150 per day and bord (he made brick all week. Over 3000 a day)
sun 23 came home with E Mortenson (molded all the next week)
sat 29 tended jeneral priesthood meeting and seventies
July 1895

sat 6 came home in the night and found wife sick with the earasyplis (?)
sun 7 did not go to meeting
mon 8 went back with a borrowed cart
tus 9 came home again snowed on the mounta.ins and rained in valey
wed 10 rained hard and snowed again
sat 13 this rain storm was the largest i have seen in 9 years a little hail with it
sun 14 sickness

tus 16 went to Sanford with S A D i went to work for him moldeing adobies for irey Whitney sat 20 came home in the night

fri 25 went to sanford to do some stone work for irey wnitney the seller 10 by 10 5ft high foundation 18 by 20 30 purch of rock in them

thi 5 fast meeting hawled rock for my chicken coop
sun 8 tended meeting in Eastdale and went to Sanford with Simey
sun 15 went down to atconsons ranch with P head to see a mare he had
mon 16 worked on grainery
wed 18 ½ day the other half day i went with West Hunt to see his horses
fri 20 ½ day the other half day i helped irey thrash at the rate of 120 lbs of wheat per day
sat 21 i traded me lots in Sanford for a 4 year old mare and 2 old horse
sun 22 came home

tus 24 helped W C Crother hawl grain
wed 25 thrashed on the lots my share 46 bushels

fri 27 took my mare down to the atconsons ranch and walked home

fri 4 rained all day snowed all round on the mountains
sat 5 helped j c b pick up potatos
sun 6 tended meeting in Sanford (molded adobies all week)
sun 13 mary went to Sanford and i did not go to meeting
mon 14 hawled adobies for my chicken coop
tus 15 ½ day and helped Bishop Funk hawl grain ½ day
wed 16 worked on the foundation (laying adobies all week)

tus 5 i and Andrew Polson fineshed the house size of the house 30 by 38 by 12 high 150 per day in cash

fri 6 killed a cow and a pig for myself
sat 7 hunted for my calfs and did not find them and hawled to loads of adobies
mon 9 i went after wood
tus 10 i and Bishop worked on my chicken coop
wed 11 i worked on it myself
thi 12 helped A mortenson thrash for Funk
fri 13 worked on my chicken coop got to the square
sun 15 tended meeting in Eastdale and went down to get my horses to go with Brother Jenson to Costilla to set up
with Brother W Y Morasses sick child but found that they were lost
