she wore it thru joy and pain, doubt and faith, and thru all the days between.

she wore it as a weight. . . she wore it as wings. . . she wore it as armor and as a badge of courage
and identity. . . she wore it humbly, she wore it with pride

she wore it as a warrior and as a servant, as a priestess and as a supplicant, she cursed it
and offered prayers of thanks for it, as it was both a curse and a blessing.

in the end it carried her and instructed her. . . she could not escape its power for it was her
heritage and her beacon, guiding her thru life and leading her home.
