Even
though the El Paso Equine Art show expenses exceeded its income, we personally
donated $500 to
each of these two 501 (c) (3) non profit charities, in honor of
our wonderful, generous show donors:
HORSEPOWER
Therapeutic
Learning Center
A Premier NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped Association) Center.
HORSEPOWER'S mission is to empower individuals who are mentally, physically, or emotionally challenged. Through the use of horses, HORSEPOWER provides a program of therapeutic, educational, and recreational benefits to individuals with disabilities in a safe and controlled atmosphere.
We chose the NARHA HORSEPOWER center as one of our beneficiaries because our own El Paso Equine Art judge and good friend Stephanie Blaylock works with the children and horses at HORSEPOWER!

CCI provides highly trained and certified assistance dogs at no charge to persons with disabilities.
We have been CCI supporters for many years and have contributed not only financially, but have also done fundraising, community presentations, and puppy raising for this exceptional organization.
Our Puppy-in-Training, "Tudi", is pictured below with a few of her CCI friends.
