Mitzie painted a lifesize polyurethane horse.
She believes that this has been the most challenging project she has ever embrace.

The first step... to prime the horse.
Mitzie rounded up family members to pitch in and help accomplish this first phase.

Gesso was the primer applied to the surface, sprayed on with the use of an air compressor.

The horse is so large that there were
areas Mitzie could not physically reach
painting from her wheelchair.

Therefore, the horse had to come down to her.

Mitzie's husband, Tim, is the kind of man who looked at modifications to accommodate Mitzie's needs with a confident response "Bring It On!"

Behold! Tim's Solution. Pretty Clever! Huh?
