Susan
I am a Phantom of the Opera fan as well as many other Andrew Lloyd Webber
musicals. I also am a Les Miserables and Miss Saigon fan. The musicals I have
seen are Phantom, Les Mis, Sunset Boulevard and CATS. I hope to see either Miss
Saigon or Beauty and the Beast in Tulsa this upcoming year. I look forward to
getting the chance to see others. I listen to my musicals that I have on CD and
tape. The ones I most frequently listen to are Les Mis, Phantom, CATS, Sunset
Blvd, West Side Story, EFX and Bye Bye Birdie. Just yesterday I received Into
the Woods as a Christmas present. I haven't listened to it straight through
yet, but it is great so far. Such an interesting plot. I know that I'll be
receiving a new CD for my birthday which is January 7th. Anyway, that CD is
Evita with Madonna.
Let me say a bit about me now. My name is Susan. I live in Winfield, Kansas.
Besides being into musicals, I actually do other things. I try to watch Dr.
Quinn, Medicine Women with Jane Seymore and Joe Lando every Saturday night. If
I miss it, it gets recorded. I play several instruments. Those are piano, alto
saxophone, flute, and a little bit of guitar. I take ballet and toe lessons in
the dance department. I play a little bit of tennis. I am on a mime troupe that
consists of my youth group at my church. We practice every Sunday night and
sometimes have extra practices the week before we have a performance. I sing in
The Walnut Valley Youth Choir here in Winfield. We have gone to competitions at
Worlds of Fun in Kansas City, Missouri and won first place one year and second
this last year. I have one more year in this choir. Some hobbies I have are
reading, biking around town, and hanging out with my friends. And of course the
net is a favorite place of mine. IRC (Internet Relay Chat) and Eternal Chaos, a
telnet game, are things I do. My favorite IRC chat rooms are #WorldCafe,
#CoffeeShoppe, #friend and #!reality. I visit many others too. My nick is
LadyDrac.
I absolutely LOVE to act! I am in the drama club at my high school and we have
just joined the Kansas Thespians. This fall WHS (Winfield High School) put on
Bye Bye Birdie. Before this, I didn't know a thing about it, but now I really
like it. I was Nancy. I had a small singing solo, a couple of quartets and a
couple of lines. I hope to get larger parts as my career in high school goes
on. After all, I'm only a freshman. =-)
