12-Revelation-01:

As we travel through these chapters of Revelation, it is not my purpose to give an exhaustive study of each...but only to point out some important sign posts...and examine those things which might be confusing and misleading...to reveal the idenity of the various characters...to show how clear it all becomes once the right track of interpretation is taken...to show the spiritual nature of the book...to reveal the excellent nature of God and the rightness of His judgments. Things which must shortly come to pass are things...some of which had already begun and would continue a long time such as seals 1,2,3,and 4 and Christ's millennial reign in conjunction with Satan's binding (some of which span the entire age of christianity). These things (vs 1) are all of the things (vs 19) including the things hereafter..mainly the things near 2002...which are as new doors opened, often in swift and sudden succession and increasing in intensity as a swift sword of the Lord. Blessed is he that readeth...you will not be blessed by merely reading the book of Revelation. You will be blessed by understanding the book of Revelation; thereby, not adding to, or taking away from the true meaning...and increasing in faith and hope and love. Daniel and John were greatly beloved and were blessed with prophetic understanding...spiritual understanding...understanding based on faith, hope, and love.
