29-Revelation-18:

The spiritual fall of Babylon...This chapter deals with the spiritual and the physical fall of Babylon, which is suggested by "is fallen, is fallen'. How did that wonderous American spirit of freedom become a license to evil? " How art thou fallen from Heaven..."(Isaiah 14:12)? 'When Justice faces backwards and righteousness stands far way...when good is become evil, and evil good...then truth lies fallen in the street ...then judgment is at the gate, when the good are a prey...then God will clothe himself in vengence and his flag unfurl...He will save us in his fury' (a paraphrase of Isaiah 59:14-19). "The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come."(Isaiah 57:1). In 1963 the Lord's Prayer was taken out of the public schools and President Kennedy was shot in the head. But this was only an anniversary of that year,100 years earlier, when America truly fell...1863! Babylon fell with "violence in the land, ruler against ruler"(Jer. 51:46) by civil war. In April of 1861 the first shots were fired at Fort Sumpner and in April of 1865 General Lee surrendered to General Grant at Appomattox. But in 1863 the nation fell as the war turned and General Lee lost 20,000 men as the Confederate invasion, in July, of Pennsylvania, was stopped at Gettysburg by General Meade in the greatest battle of the war. This was Waterloo...a year later General Sherman was marching towards the sea. This loss at Gettysburg, coupled with the Union victory at Vicksburg in September, sealed the fate of a nation...for State Sovereignty (the Republican king) died...and Queen Democratic continued on, as though she were not a widow. She pretended that the States still retained their sovereignty and that the citizens still had their Constitutional rights (God given rights). But the Federal Courts revealed the deception, and the Supreme Court of the land thought to interpret, rather than to defend the Constitution. The leaders became traitors to their country...their oaths were a mockery. "....their folly shall be manifest..."(II Tim. 3:1-9). And they made a memorial temple and placed the graven image of President Lincoln ( who had been shot on April 14 th, 1865 ) into the temple and said 'all hale the savior of the slaves'. "The days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon..."(Jer. 51:47). And shall the Statue of Liberty escape? On April 14th, in 1912 the Titanic struck the iceburg. "...How is the praise of the whole Earth surprised!" (Jer. 51:41). "Though Babylon should mount up to Heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength...Thus shall Babylon sink..."(Jeremiah 51:53,64).

Wine of wrath...(Revelation 14:8 and 18:3)...God's wrath will be upon all those who partake of American wine...the wine that causes insanity...science progressing to godlessness...anarchy and abortion with false peace and false safety and a false joy ...feasting at tables of vomit. "Babylon hath been a golden cup in the Lord's hand, that made all the Earth drunken: The nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad (insane)."(Jer. 51:7). "And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: And they shall sleep a perpetual sleep..." (Jeremiah 51:57).

Come out of her ye saints...I will bring you out before I destroy her. Come out of her Babylonian assemblies. "Flee out of the midst of Babylon..." (Jer. 51:6). "...forsake her, and let us (Hebrews 11) go every one into his own country...(51:9). For, by faith, Abraham sought a heavenly city and Moses chose to suffer. "...lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees."(Heb. 12:12) and "...lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh."(Luke 21;28). "My people, go ye out of the midst of her, and deliver ye every man his soul from the fierce anger of the Lord." (Jer. 51:45). For "...their faces shall be as flames." (Is.13:8). This punishment will be for the entire world, epitomized by Mystery Babylon (Is.13:11). "...Therefore will I shake the heavens and the earth..."(Is.13:13). 'Hell will rise up to meet you...eager to receive you' (para. Is.14:9). "...The day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with a fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."(IIPet. 3:10). I will come in great fury, for I have had great patience; and my sword will be swift. Praise you Righteous Father...I know you have a heart of love that sent your Only Begotten Son to die upon the cross in my place. Praise you for your great fury...the result of your great patience and mercy and longsuffering. O Father, your 'thunders' will be as bitters that soothe the stomach. Thy swiftness will be as painlessness. Oh Father...burn it all in a swift and efficient finality...Devil and man alike. Oh, Thou that hidest thyself...I can almost see you...Thou Swift Revealer and Father of Truth and Love.
