44........interpreting the prophets
No prophecy is of any private interpretation. That is why Joseph...the great interpreter..said "Do not interpretations belong to God" (Genesis 40:8). Jesus is the spirit of prophecy, and this is the spirit of grace. The true interpreter of prophecy will present astrong message of grace even when doom is the nature of the prophecy.
Interpretation has to do with revealing the meaning of another tongue or language...as the language of mathematics and dreams and visions which are spoken by the Holy Spirit and can only be interpreted by that same Spirit working through the interpretor. Only a christian with the gift of discernment and spiritual interpretation is qualified to interpret the prophets of the Holy Spirit. This is what I call a 'little prophet'...one who interprets the prophets...but does not make his own prophecies. A 'little prophet' is not a real prophet...he is just an interpretor of the prophet.
II Peter 3:10 states "But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elementsshall melt...". The night of the heavenly thief (when He raptures his saints) will not give way to the dawn of a new day upon the earth ( no thousand year periods here). True 'little prophets' give simple easily understood revelations based upon grace as in this example. True and false...the true prophet of God has the message of grace for Jesus is the spirit of prophecy and this is the inward witness that his prophecy is true. The true prophet goes against the established situation and will never be found in the majority position. He does not seek itching ears. He will be persecuted and outcast.
Key elements of true interpretation involve time, mathematics, spiritualization (rather than literalist dogma), simplicity, grace, confidence, authority, and verification by witnesses ( the chief witness being the Word ). The true 'little prophet' is confident and assured of his position by his awesome Father and revealer of truths and will not be intimidated by the uninitiated and foolish false authorities of the endtimes. This 'little prophet' is hard to find amidst the babel of the false prophets and must be sought out and held in respect by those who value the precious message. His message once delivered may result in his death and that message must be taken up and proclaimed by the few followers he has obtained. I proclaim to you that I am just such a 'little prophet'...a voice in the wilderness of confusion and endtime babel...a light of surer prophecy that you would do well if you took heed to for the time is very short and 'little prophets' are rare. Do I puff myself up....not hardly....I am a total worm...God just has very little use for the mainstream authorities and self-righteous and now that my burden is lifted I will disappear and few will even know who wrote these words. p.s....The rapture and start of doomsday should occur in the Spring of 2002 at the time of the anniversary of the Passover. I am not at ease with the exact split-second prediction I began with and feel somewhat as a carnival 'carnie' trying to drag in the passerbyers. Midnight could well be only the spiritual time of the last days. Thank you Awesome Father...revealer of truth...you have discharged this burden of prophecy for your church...come Lord Jesus!
