NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Governing Body of the Village of
Capitan, New Mexico will hold a public hearing in conjunction with the
regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, June 12, 2007, beginning at
6:30 PM at the Village Hall Meeting Room of the Village of Capitan, New
Mexico. The public hearing is concerning the following:
1. Adopting Ordinance 2007-_____An Ordinance
Consenting to Landowners Petitions for Annexation into the Village of
Capitan, New Mexico certain contiguous lands as shown by Maps thereof,
attached to the Ordinance and referred to as Exhibit “A”, Property
being annexed hereinafter more particularly described:
1. Phil Fifer – C Hill
Subdivision, Block 3, Lots 2 and 3
2. James H. Fields – C Hill
Subdivision, Block 3, Lot 1
2. Adopting Ordinance 2007-_____Village of
Capitan Code Section 5-2-1, Minors; Curfew; adding Compulsory School
Attendance, a policy regarding students who should be in school or who
is being home schooled during the school year.
The public is invited to attend the Public Meeting.
