The Village of Capitan will be going to the following
new
days/hours as of September 1, 2002.
We will now be open from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday
through Thursday, and will be closed Fridays. Employees have a 30 minute
lunch break, however they are staggered, so Village Hall is not closed during
lunch.
The above schedule is for every week, EXCEPT when there is a scheduled holiday
that falls on Monday. Then the following will be in effect:
The Village will be closed on the Monday Holiday as usual, then the schedule
will go to four 8 hour days., ie.: Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. through
4:00 p.m., with a 30 minute lunch break for employees.
Motor Vehicle will regularly be open Mondays and Tuesday, 7:00 a.m.
4:30 p.m., with the Motor Vehicle Office closed from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
On the Monday Holiday Schedule, Motor Vehicle will be open Tuesday, Wednesday,
and Thursday, from 7:30 to 3:30, with the Motor Vehicle Office Closed from
12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The week of Thanksgiving the Village will be open November 25, 26,
27th (Monday,, Tuesday, Wednesday) from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and will
be closed Thursday the 28th and Friday, the 29th for the Holiday. Motor Vehicle
will be open the same days (25th , 26th, and 27th) from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30
p.m., and will be closed each of those days from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The week of Christmas. the Village will be closed on Tuesday, December
24th , and Wednesday, December 25th . They will be open Monday, Thursday,
and Friday, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
We hope this new schedule will help accommodate all those who work in that
they will be able to come in before they leave for work, and after they get
off.
