Minutes Capitan Cemetery Board January 11, 2005

The meeting was called to order by Chair Roehrig at 9:09 A with the following present, Larry Holt, Lois Aldrich, Netta Noland, Village Reprehensive guest Edward Vinson, and Trustee George Tippin, absent Diana Riska. The minutes of the December 12 meeting were approved with the correction of Netta Noland, Village Reprehensive being present at the December meeting, on motion by Larry second by George, carried voice vote.

Treasure's report was a balance of $10,166.00 and the payment of the ground keeper. There were no plot sales or donations Treasure's report accepted on motion by George second by Larry, carried on voice vote.

In relation to last meeting the question as to the owner ship of the 9/10 acre the Village Clerk reported all the paper work was in order and the Village was the sole owner of the property.

In the Village Trustee's meeting December 12 the Village Attorney indicated no problems with either the resident differential or the use of the term perpetual lease. It was noted the last four Cemetery plots have been purchased by persons who are not residents of Capitan, and there has been an inquiry about the purchase of another three plots by a person who is not a resident of Capitan.

Further action will be taken in the preparation of a letter to those who are in a wears in the payment of reserved Cemetery Plots,

It was again discussed that in the new section the rule was a head stone, or marker was to be at ground level, and there was to be no raised area of any kind. There are a couple of violations, however no action was taken at this time.

The next meeting will be February 8, 2005 at 9:00 A Village Hall

There being no further business the meeting was adjourned at 9:55A
