Minutes Capitan Cemetery Board November 9, 2004

The meeting was called to order by chair Roehrig at 9:12 A with the following present, Larry Holt, Diana Riska, Lois Aldrich, guess Edward Vinson, and Trustee George Tippin.

The minutes of the October Meeting were approved as read on motion by Diana, second by Lois carried on voice vote. The treasure reported the audit found $55.00. There was the expense of $95.00 for checks, and an ending balance of $9750.42. There were no plot sales, or donations.

Chair Roehrig reported there is a lady who has a survey quality GPS and has volunteered to do the mapping of the old part of the Cemetery. Also it was reported it may be possible to rend an ultra-sound to help determine the questionable gravesites.

Lois Aldrich resigned her position as an active Board member and accepted the position of honorary and board historian. In her place the Board approved Edward Vinson. His name will be forward to the Mayor for nomination, and approval by the Board Of Trustees.

There was some discussion of what constituted, " appropriate" plants. Information will be requested from the County Extension Agent. It was noted that in no case should plants extend beyond the gravesite, and trees may only be planted along the East fence, as stated in the rules.

The December meeting will be held December 14, only if there is some problem with the proposed changes in the Cemetery Ordinance in the Trustee's public hearing this evening..

There being no further business on motion by Larry, second by George, carried on voice vote the meeting was adjourned at 10: 15 A
