VILLAGE OF CAPITAN, NEW MEXICO
ORDINANCE 2007 - 4
AN ORDINANCE CONSENTING TO LANDOWNER’S PETITION FOR ANNEXATION INTO THE
VILLAGE OF CAPITAN, NEW MEXICO, CERTAIN CONTIGUOUS LANDS AS SHOWN BY
MAP THEREOF, ATTACHED TO THIS ORDINANCE AND REFERRED TO AS EXHIBIT “A”,
SAID PROPERTY BEING ANNEXED HEREINAFTER MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED.
WHEREAS, on the 12th day of June, 2007, a petition was presented to the
Village of Capitan, New Mexico by the following owner:
1. Phil Fifer-Fifer Family Trust, owner,
located in C Hill Subdivision, Block 3 Lots 2 and 3, Lincoln County,
New Mexico.
2. James H. Fields and Dolores J. Fields,
owner, located in C Hill Subdivision, Block 3, Lot 1, Lincoln County,
New Mexico.
for annexation of said property into the Village limits of the Village
of Capitan; and
WHEREAS, it appearing that said tract is contiguous to the present
Village limits; and
WHEREAS, said Petition appears regular in every respect, and said
annexation appearing to be in the best interests of the Village of
Capitan, New Mexico,
BE IT ORDAINED by the Governing Body of the Village of Capitan, New
Mexico that said Governing Body consents to said annexation.
APPROVED AND PASSED this 12th day of June 2007.
