RESOLUTION 2004-15
COUNCIL OF GOVERNMENT
WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan, hereinafter referred to as the
Municipality, is a member of and desires the services of the
Southeastem New Mexico Economic Development District/COG; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with. Article 58, Sections 4-58-1 to 4-58-6 NMSA
(1978), an agreement setting forth the terms and conditions of active
membership in the Southeastern New Mexico Economic Development
District/COG is required, and
WHEREAS, a Village representative serves an the executive board of the
Southeastern New Mexico Economic Development District/COG; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Municipality to continue as an active
member of the Southeastern New Mexico Economic Development
District/COG; and
NOW THEREFORE, be it. resolved by. the Governing Body of the Village of
Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico, that the Village shall take such
action as is necessary to maintain active membership in the
Southeastern New Mexico Economic Development District/COG, including
execution of a standard contract and payment of applicable dues.
DONE, PASSED AND APPROVED by the Governing Body of the Village of
Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico on this 14th day of September, 2004.
