RESOLUTION 2004-16
BUDGET INCREASE
WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the Village of Capitan, meeting in
regular session on September 14, 2004, proposed to make a budget
increase in the amount of $175,534.00 for revenue in the Water Fund and
an increase of $3000 to the Water Conservation Fee expense due to the
increase in the water usage; and
WHEREAS, the budget increase is revenue collected for sale of water
used during the Peppin Fire and dumping of gray water; and
WHEREAS, the budget increase is an expense for fees owed for increase
water usage during the Peppin Fire which is paid to the New Mexico
Taxation and Revenue Department for Water Conservation Fees; and
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Governing Body of the Village of
Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico, that its 2004-2005 budget for the
Water Enterprise Fund be, amended to reflect an increase in water
sales revenue of $175,534.00 and an increase in the Water Conservation
Fee expenses of $3,000.00, subject to approval by the Local Government
Division. of the Department of Finance and Administration.
DONE, PASSED AND APPROVED by the Governing Body of the Village of
Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico on this 14th day of September 2004.
