RESOLUTION 2005-05
IN SUPPORT OF ELECTED OFFICIALS
DRUG TESTING ACT
WHEREAS, the Governing Body in and for the Village of Capitan, State of
New Mexico, meeting in a regular session on the 8th day of February
2005, is in full support of Senate Bill 20 to enact a voluntary drug
testing program for all elected officials in New Mexico and,
WHEREAS, all elected officials of the state, including officers of
federal and local governments, shall be randomly selected by the
secretary of state to participate in a voluntary drug testing program.
Each elected official shall be selected at least once annually and,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE VILLAGE OF
CAPITAN, adopted Resolution 2005-05 in support of Senate Bill 20 to
enact the Elected Officials Drug Testing Act at the regular meeting
this 8th day of February, 2005.
DONE, PASSED AND APPROVED by the Governing Body of the Village of
Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico on this 8 th day of February 2005.
