RESOLUTION 2005-13
APPLICATION TO NEW MEXICO FINANCE AUTHORITY
FOR NEW POLICE VEHICLE
WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan Police Department would like to submit
an application to the New Mexico Finance Authority to buy a new police
unit at an approximate cost of $40,000 and;
WHEREAS, upon approval to put a down payment of $15,000 from the
2004-2005 Law Enforcement Protection Fund budget. The loan if approved,
would be intercept through the Law Enforcement Protection Fund each
year thereafter until the balance was paid in full and;
WHEREAS, the Governing Body in and for the Village of Capitan, State of
New Mexico meeting in a special session on the 19th day of April 2005
approve the application to the New Mexico Finance Authority and;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE VILLAGE OF
CAPITAN, authorize the submittal of an application to the New Mexico
Finance Authority for approval of a loan for a new police unit where
the funds would be intercepted through the Law Enforcement Protection
Fund.
DONE, PASSED AND APPROVED by the Governing Body of the Village of
Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico on this 19th day of April 2005.
