WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan discovered an accounting error of approximately $19,000 in the Correctional, Judicial & Court Account and;

WHEREAS, the Governing Body in and for the Municipality of Capitan, State of New Mexico, meeting in a regular session on the 10 day of May 2005 did approve Resolution 2005-15, which created a new Correctional Fund; and

WHEREAS, the Local Government Division did approve Resolution 2005-15 on the 12 day of May 2005; and

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Governing Body of the Village of Capitan, meeting in regular session on the 14 day of June, 2005 does respectfully requests approval from the DFA to adjust the 2004—2005 budget by allowing $1,150 in budgeted expenditures in the Correctional Fund. The balance in the Correctional Fund at the time of this resolution is $18,301.35.
