WHEREAS, the Governing Body for the Village of Capitan, State of New Mexico, meeting in a regular session on the 5 day of December 2005, has approved and adopted the Official Holiday Calendar for the Village of Capitan.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Capitan Board of Trustees hereby adopts the following as the Official Holiday Calendar for the Village of Capitan.

One Floating Holiday for each full time employee upon approval by Mayor or Village Clerk within the 2006 calendar year.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday    will be observed on Monday, January 16, 2006
Presidents’ Day                             will be observed on Monday, February 20, 2006
Memorial Day                               will be observed on Monday, May 29, 2006
Independence Day                        will be observed on Tuesday, July 4, 2006
Labor Day                                    will be observed on Monday, September 4, 2006
Columbus Day                              will be observed on Monday, October 9, 2006
Veteran’s Day                              will be observed on Thursday, November 9, 2006
Thanksgiving Day                         will be observed on Thursday, November 23, 2006
Christmas Day                              will be observed on Monday, December 25, 2006
                                                    and Tuesday, December 26, 2006
New Year’s Day                          will be observed on Monday January 1, 2007

RESOLVED BY BOARD ACTION this 5 day on December 2005 and amended 19 day of December 2005.
