WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan did have an audit finding regarding the water security ledger and the bank account for water security deposits; and

WHEREAS, the bank account for water security deposits contains more cash than is required by the detailed ledger of water security deposits; and

WHEREAS, the Governing Body in and for the Village of Capitan, State of New Mexico, does wish to correct this situation; and 

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE VILLAGE OF CAPITAN, does respectfully request approval from the DFA to adjust the 2005 – 2006 budget by allowing a transfer of $2795.54 from the water security bank account to the general bank account.  Also, the Governing Body of the Village of Capitan does request authorization to transfer any interest earned on the water security bank account to the general bank account monthly.  These adjustments will balance the water security ledger and the bank account for water security deposits. 


DONE, PASSED AND APPROVED by the Governing Body of the Village of Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico on this 11th day of April, 2006.
