WHEREAS, the Governing Body in and for the Municipality of Capitan, State of New Mexico, has developed a budget for fiscal year 2006 – 2007; and

WHEREAS, said budget was developed on the basis of need and through cooperation with all user department supervisors, elected officials; and

WHEREAS, the official meetings for review of said documents were duly advertised in compliance with the State Open Meetings Act; and

WHEREAS, it is the majority opinion of the Governing Body that the proposed budged meets the requirements as currently determined for fiscal year 2006 – 2007; and

NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Governing Body of the Village of Capitan, Lincoln County, State of New Mexico, meeting in regular session on the 9th day of May, 2006 hereby adopts the budget herein above described and does respectfully requests approval from the Local Government Division of the Department of Finance and Administration.

DONE, PASSED AND APPROVED by the Governing Body of the Village of Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico on this 9th day of May, 2006.
