WHEREAS, the New Mexico Department of Transportation has awarded funds in the amount of $71,664.77 match funds to the Village of Capitan for Blading and Shaping, Drainage Improvement and Miscellaneous for approximately 1.7 miles of Village Streets.  The following streets are described below:
            Main Road            1.0 miles
            Skyview Road              .4 miles
            Mr. Terrace              .3 miles

WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan agrees to participate in the cost of the project and has committed $23,888.26 as local 25% match in-kind funds for a total for the project of $95,553.03; and

WHEREAS, NMDOT requires the Village of Capitan to accept Cooperative Agreement Project No. SP-2-07 (960), Control No. 87743 and Vendor No. 5206335 by resolution and certify its commitment.

NOW THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BODY that the aforementioned is hereby approved and is made a part of this resolution and that the Village certifies its commitment to undertake the improvements and complete them in a satisfactory manner.
