WHEREAS, the Governing Body for the Village of Capitan, State of New Mexico, meeting in a regular session on the 12th day of December 2006, has approved and adopted the Official Holiday Calendar for the Village of Capitan.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Village of Capitan Board of Trustees hereby adopts the following as the Official Holiday Calendar for the Village of Capitan.

One Floating Holiday for each full time employee upon approval by Mayor or Village Clerk within the 2007 calendar year.

Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday    will be observed on Monday, January 15, 2007
   
Presidents’ Day            will be observed on Monday, February 19, 2007

Memorial Day                will be observed on Monday, May 28, 2007

Independence Day             will be observed on Wednesday, July 4, 2007

Labor Day                will be observed on Monday, September 3, 2007

Columbus Day            will be observed on Monday, October 8, 2007

Veteran’s Day                will be observed on Monday, November 12, 2007

Thanksgiving Day            will be observed on Thursday, November 22 and Friday, November 23, 2007

Christmas Day                will be observed on Monday, December 24, 2007 and Tuesday, December 25, 2007

New Year’s Day            will be observed on Tuesday, January 1, 2008
