WHEREAS, there is a need to prepare an application for the filing of the 2008-2009 MAP Application; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico will present a MAP application detailing the road chosen to be done by the Road Supervisor and the Village Council; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor of the Village of Capitan is authorized to file said application; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor and Village Trustees assures that matching funds will be budgeted in the 2008-2009 Village of Capitan’s annual budget for the MAP Application; and

WHEREAS, the Village of Capitan is authorized and directed to prepare the Official Application, either by its own personnel or by contract method, signed by the Mayor, certifying the information in the application to be true and correct to the best of his knowledge; and
 
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE VILLAGE OF CAPITAN, request approval from the NM State Highway Department for the filing of the application of the 2008-2009 MAP application;

DONE, PASSED, AND ADOPTED by the Governing Body of the Village of Capitan, Lincoln County, New Mexico on this 11th day of March, 2008.
