Public Hearing and Special Meeting
May 17, 2004
The Village of Capitan Board of Trustees held a Public Hearing in
conjunction with a Special Budget Workshop on May 17, 2004 at the
Village Hall Building. Mayor Steve Sederwall called the meeting to
order at 6:30 pm. Trustees present were George Tippin, Bill Martin, and
Bobbi Shearer with Ed Davis absentee.
Public Hearing was held to amend Health and Life Insurance Ordinance
1-7-19.27. Motion by Trustee Tippin seconded by Trustee Shearer to
close the Public Hearing.
Special Meeting Budget Workshop: Mayor Sederwall declared to go into
the workshop.
Water Advisory Board: Motion by Trustee Shearer seconded by Trustee
Tippin to accept the appointment for the Water Advisory Board. All in
favor, motion carried.
Rescind Banning Annexation or Extraterritorial: Motion by Trustee
Shearer seconded by Trustee Martin to rescind Resolution 94-10 and
those we set an agenda item for our next meeting to establish a policy
regarding extraterritorial water connection and annexation. Roll Call:
Trustee Shearer yes, Trustee Martin yes, Trustee Tippin yes.
Budget Workshop: Motion by Trustee Martin seconded by Trustee Shearer
to table the workshop until questions are answered by the DFA. All in
favor, motion carried.
Motion by Trustee Tippin seconded by Trustee Shearer to adjourn the
meeting at 7:30 pm. All in favor, motion carried.
