"...The media have warned about impending climate doom four different times in the last 100 years. Only they can’t decide if mankind will die from warming or cooling."
"It was then, in the early 1970s, that ideology, and not science, began to drive so-called climate science... The driving force was to get people to blame science for environmental disasters, to use fewer resources, and to shrink the world's population, particularly its brown, black, and yellow parts."
Silly you. You thought environmental science was based on FACTS? Turns out a key temperature measurement has been based on an assumption.
"FRESH doubt has been cast on evidence for global warming following the discovery that a key method of measuring temperature change has exaggerated the warming rate by almost 40 per cent."
Al Gore bases his wacky environmental views on global warming on the research of Dr. James Hansen (despite the opposing opinions of over 17,000 scientists). Now it turns out that Dr. Hansen believes he was wrong. New NASA funded "research suggests fossil fuel burning may not be as important in the mechanics of climate change as previously thought." Black carbon (soot) particles are among the culprits, however, Hansen believes. IF Global Warming is occurring, it would be better environmental policy to log our Forests, than let them burn!
"...The atmospheric data simply do not support the elaborate computer-driven climate models that are being cited by the United Nations and other promoters of the Accord as "proof" of a major future warming."
"...two of the world's top eco-scientists, Patrick Moore and Philip Stott, say the save-the-rainforest movement is wrong: at best, vastly misleading; at worst, a gigantic con."
"None of the studies cited above has shown clear evidence that we can attribute the observed [climate] changes to the specific cause of increases in greenhouse gasses."
"There is evidence to suggest that the CFC ban is another enviro-hoax based on bad science so big business can open up a brand new marketplace enforced by an international treaty and rape the people of the world for $billions. The estimated "chiller change" market in the U.S. alone is $40 billion."
"...in the mid-Eighties the ultra-leftists and extremists took over. After Greenham Common closed and the Britain Wall came down, these extremists were searching for a new cause and found it in environmentalism."
