Living
in the mountains of rural New Mexico gives me plenty of Western subject
matter to inspire me. Native Americans, ranch life, nature
and wildlife are things I see everyday. Whether it is figurative
or still life, I try to capture the authentic drama and color of
life in the West
Horses, Six Shooters, SASS, CAS, Cowboys (or
Cowgirls) and Indians are my favorite subject matter. I try to be true
to the spirit and soul of the subjects in my paintings.
My
studio and home is powered by solar energy. The nearest Wal-Mart is
over 50 miles one way. Cell phone? They don’t work here!
It is a wonderful place.
