BIBLE VERSES ABOUT JESUS AND DEATH

THE SECOND JUDGMENT

I believe Jesus is the "Word" used in John 1:1-5 which follows (NIV):

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, but the darkness has not understood it. John 1:1-5 (NIV)

From Matthew 11:28-30, I have learned that our walk with God is not all that hard. (NIV)

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."

Please take some time to let God's Holy Spirit speak to your heart while reading these verses of the book of Revelation starting at verse 11 of Chapter 20:

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to what he had done. Then death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. The lake of fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire. Rev. 20:11-16 (NIV)

I'll take a second look at the question.
