The following breif trees are made from other WHEELER comments left in our Guestbook by visitors linked with the state of Idaho Abbr. ID, Id., A state of the northwest United States. It was admitted as the 43rd state in 1890. First explored by the Lewis and Clark expedition in 1805, the region was held jointly by Great Britain and the United States from 1818 to 1846. Idaho became a separate territory in 1863. Boise is the capital and the largest city. Population, 1,011,986. (source citation is on index page):

My father-in-law's mother was Mary Ellen Wheeler (don't know her maiden name, this is her 1st husband's surname). She may have had maiden name of Quinn (or similar). Mary Ellen Was b. 1869 in IA? In 1897 she married James McConnel Cooper (d 1929). Mary Ellen d 1959 in MN. James' parents were William and Evelyn Cooper. When James d in 1929 his will listed 2 chn. from prior marriages, Charles Cooper and Letha Page. I'd appreciate information on any of these individuals.

Well on 1 May 1912 George Ray WHEELER married Benta Elisa NELSON. In Logan Cache, Utah. George Ray WHEELER was born in Aug 5 1893 in Glendale Franklin, Idaho. He had six children. 1. Zella Lael b 5 Mar 1913, 2. Raymond Darl b 16 Sep 1914, 3. Virgina Mary b 23 Sep 1916, 4. Donald Nelson b 13 April 1919, 5. Lonzo Severine b 20 Jun 1924, 6. Van Nelson b 15 Mar 1927.

I also have info on all the childrens' children. If you need it.
