It has been nearly 2 years since I first found your web page and you sparked my interest in pursuing my family tree. Since then using some tips you gave me I finally found my 5th great grandfathers name and a ton of information on him and his descendants. Just wanted to thank you so very much for your site. I just started
researching my Wheeler genealogy and had gotten quite stuck (a. because I
am so new to this and b. because it's difficult to do research concerning
the east coast from California).
Of all things, I read your guestbook and come across almost everything I
needed to know about my great-grandfather's line, a posting by Kevin White
concerning the Wheelers of Yancey County NC.
Unbelievable! Beginner's luck, maybe.
