The models are used in building the feeder segments where the endpoints, length and configuration are known.
Configurations are built from conductors and/or cables along with their spacings (the distance between conductors/cables) . A configuration can be overhead or underground.
Transformers are represented by phase impedances (R% and X%) and kVA rating by phase.
In addition a configuration
can be represented by a user impedances. This allows direct
entry of impedances in per unit or ohms per mile.
