15. Peter Jacob (Petrus Jacobus) Gelven was born in 1816 in Lank, (KC) Kreis Crefeld, Rheinland, (Prussia). He emigrated on 5 Jun 1840 from Immigrated to New Orleans from Bremen on the ship Johann Georg. He died in Jul 1851 in Osage County, Missouri. He Worked in As a carpenter.

He was married to Anna Maria Rosellen on 13 Jul 1844 in Fr Helias, Osage County, Missouri. Anna Maria Rosellen was born in 1822 in Ramrath, Kreis Neuss, Rheinland. She was buried in 1854 in Sacred Heart, Rich Fountain, Osage County. Missouri. She died on 13 Jun 1854 in Osage County, Missouri. Peter Jacob (Petrus Jacobus) Gelven and Anna Maria Rosellen had the following children:
